Keyboard Shortcut to Minimise Remote Desktop

I’m a fan of keyboard shortcuts…

When in remote desktop, it is difficult to use the keyboard to return to the local computer unless you are logging off (by pressing CTRL-ESC to get to the start menu).

In the remote desktop session, Press CTRL-ALT-Pause&Break. This will do the same as clicking the “Restore Down” button on the yellow bar in Remote Desktop. You’ll now be able to ALT-TAB between windows on your local PC, with the Remote Desktop session being just one of these.

Press CTRL-ALT-Pause&Break again, and the Remote Desktop session is restored to full screen, and ALT-TAB will now be between windows in the Remote Desktop machine.

Yay!
